Partners
Wayne L. Tomei, CPA is the managing partner of our firm. Wayne has thirty years of accounting and tax experience as a CPA. His undergraduate studies were in business administration at Gonzaga University with an emphasis in accounting. He received his Bachelors Degree in Business Administration in 1977. Wayne has extensive experience in working with closely held businesses, specifically in tax and management consulting, cash flow, debt consulting and overall financial planning. The social and civic awareness and responsibility of our firm is demonstrated by his participation on the Board of Directors of numerous Bay Area non-profit organizations including the Salesian Boys’ and Girls’ Club, the Italian American Community Services Agency, the Columbus Day Celebration, Inc., and the San Francisco Italian Athletic Club Foundation. Wayne is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants. Wayne enjoys most sports and is an avid San Francisco Giants, 49ers and Warriors fan. He also enjoys traveling, playing golf and spending time with his family. Stephen D. Tonjes, CPA is a partner in the firm. Steve has over thirty years of diversified tax experience. Three of those years were with a large international accounting firm. He graduated from California State University at Hayward with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in accounting in 1976. Steve has extensive experience in the taxation field relating to estates, corporations, partnerships and employee benefit plans. Steve was the past President of the San Ramon Valley Rotary Club and is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants. In his free time, Steve enjoys playing golf, tennis, going to the movies and spending time with his new grandson and family. Steve and his wife Susan are active in the local Contra Costa “Blue Star Moms Group.” Steve and his family reside in Discovery Bay, CA.

Stacey M. Silva, CPA, Senior Staff Accountant
Stacey joined our firm in January 2010. A graduate, with a B.S. in Accounting, from Saint Mary’s College, she comes to us with over 15 years of tax and accounting experience. Her background includes working for public accounting firms in both areas of tax and audit, internal audit work with Chevron for 4 years and extensive financial statement analysis work in the private sector. Stacey was certified by the California Board of Accountancy in May 1997 and is a member of the California Society of CPA’s. In her free time Stacey enjoys playing soccer and golf and spending time with her family.

Teresa Toan, a Staff Accountant, is a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Economics with an emphasis in Accounting. Teresa works remotely as she works part time for the firm. She also visits client’s offices as needed. Her expertise is business accounting including tax preparation of all types of tax returns.

Nicole A. Tomei, Staff Accountant
Nicole Tomei, Administrative Assistant/Staff Accountant can help answer any questions you may have, set up appointments, get you in touch with the right person, can send you tax returns or any documents that you may need. She has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in marketing from Gonzaga University. Nicole volunteers her time to the Italian American Community Services Agency (A Non-Profit Organization) in San Francisco. She enjoys planning events for the firm and during her spare time she also loves traveling, playing sports, going to sporting events, and hanging out with family and friends.

Donna V. Garcia, Administrative Assistant
Donna V. Garcia, Office Manager/Administrative Assistant. Donna has been a part of the team since 2001. An undergraduate B.S. Nursing Student from Brokenshire College in the Philippines. While working for the firm she has taken Bookkeeping classes to improve her ability. Donna compliments our staff with her administrative skills, knowledgeable bookkeeping skills and professional demeanor. She has once donated her time with Columbus Day Celebration, Inc. (A Non-Profit organization from San Francisco) assisting them with their accounting and annual grant application for several years. Donna also assists clients with issues regarding their investment accounts from the Tomei and Tonjes Financial Services, LLC which is the other side of the business.
